When you send the estimate or callback form, we collect what you type in: your name, phone number, email address if given, street address and town, and your description of the basement problem. When you call, we may log the number you called from, the time and the length of the call. Like most websites, the site also records basic technical data such as browser type, pages viewed and the referring page, through standard cookies and analytics.

We use your details to pass your request to one independent local contractor who serves your area, so that contractor can contact you about a visit and an estimate. We also use them to run and improve the site, to measure which pages and forms work and to answer you if you contact us. We share your information with that contractor and with service providers that host the site or handle form and call tracking for us. We don't sell your information to data brokers or mailing lists.

Once your request reaches a contractor, that company's own privacy practices apply to anything it collects from you. Ask the contractor how it stores and uses your details.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it by calling (614) 555-0147 or using the contact page. We keep request records only as long as we need them to run the service and meet legal duties. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies; the site still works without them, though some measurement stops.

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. We may update this policy; the version posted here is the current one.
