Independent local contractors may pay this site for advertising. That's how the site is funded. As a homeowner, you never pay this site anything, and you never receive anything, whether cash, a gift card, a discount or any other reward, for using it or sending a request.

This site is not a waterproofing company or a contractor. It holds no City of Columbus home improvement license, does no basement work, gives no bids or prices, offers no inspections, signs no contracts and does not handle insurance claims. When you send a request, it goes to one independent local contractor, who arranges any visit, prepares the estimate and does any work you choose to hire it for.

Because contractors may pay for advertising, you should check any contractor yourself before hiring. Ask for its City of Columbus home improvement license for basement waterproofing and confirm it with Building and Zoning Services; outside Columbus, ask your city's building department. Get proof of insurance and a written, itemized contract, and never feel pressure to sign the same day.
